What are the differences between THC and CBD?

THC-dominant (tetrahydrocannabinol) A THC-dominant strain will give the user that intoxicating "high" feeling. The psychoactive effect is balanced and damped by the level of CBD in the strain. THC-dominant strains can produce feelings of euphoria, as well as can alter consciousness and perspective. CBD-dominant (cannabidiol) A CBD-dominant strain will give the user more of a grounded "body" experience. CBD is non-psychoactive, making it more desirable to those with THC sensitives. CBD-dominant strains have little to no psychoactive effects. THC/CBD combination A strain that has a balance of THC and CBD will synchronize the overall effects of each cannabinoid. CBD cushions the CB1 adaptor in the brain, softening the psychoactive effects of THC.
